In ancient China, eating dog meat was considered medical, now it's proving to be simply ancient. With China's growing affluent class, who are increasingly falling in love with in-door pets, eating cats and dogs is clashing with these old beliefs. On July 6 for the sixth straight year, an animal rights group led a protest in front of the South Korean consulate in San Francisco over the raising of dogs and cats for food.
