Mount Laurel, N.J. (July 13, 2010) – On Sunday July 11, more than 30 Canada geese and ducks were found shot and mutilated at the East Gate Square in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The international animal protection organization In Defense of Animals (IDA) offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the killing.

Demonstration will highlight restaurant's sale of diseased livers from mistreated ducks
Sacramento, Calif. (May 21, 2010) - Activists with In Defense of Animals (IDA), the Animal Protection and Rescue League (APRL), and Sacramento Animal Rights will be protesting outside of Firehouse Restaurant in Sacramento today at 6:00 p.m. against the sale of foie gras - diseased, enlarged livers from mistreated, force-fed ducks.
